Beginning in 1892, four generations of contractors have been continuously building in North and South Carolina and have called Shelby, NC home.  Our history in the construction business began with Charles Avery Morrison in 1892.  In the early 1930's after serving under his father, the business was passed down to his son Clarence M. Morrison.  In 1967 after working for his father, Carl L. Morrison, Sr. took over the business until his semi-retirement in 1999.  At that time the day to day operations of the business was passed to his sons Charles and Carl (Ace) Morrison.  Upon Carl Sr.'s passing in 2009, ownership of the business passed to Charles and Carl Jr.
